Computer Application Training (CAT) - I: 2W)                    

Purpose

To provide organizations/Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) schools/institutes’ administrative/technical staff with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out day-to-day office works using computer effectively and efficiently.

Structure

This is a two-week training course. The training requires full time attendance and active participation of all the participants.

The course language will be mainly English and whenever necessary Nepali explanation will be given.

Target Group

Instructional and managerial staff of TVET organization.

Goals

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Create and format MS-Word documents;
  • Create and format worksheets in MS-Excel;
  • Create charts, graphs using MS-Excel;
  • Design slides using MS-PowerPoint;
  • Design and give presentations using MS-PowerPoint;
  • Speak the common terms and terminologies of computer.

Methodology

During this course, a wide variety of learner centered and problem-based strategies will be used.  Various methods such as illustrated talk, small group activities, oral questioning, and participants’ presentation and individualized learning will be used to accomplish the course goals. Principles of adult learning will guide the overall process.

Evaluation

Knowledge, performance and attitude will be evaluated during this course.

Certification

TITI will award a certificate to those participants who successfully complete the training including practicum.

Course

 Basic Audio Video Editing

Purpose

Provide training to develop skills on audio and video editing.

Structure

This is a two-week training program based on audio and video editing. It contains theory and practical sessions. The training focuses on doing/practical skills.

The course will be delivered in Nepali and/or English. Instructional materials provided are primarily in English.

Target Group

Instructors/Assistant Instructors having diploma in any discipline.

Goals

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

 

  • Install hit films software
  • Import multimedia files
  • Create Sequence
  • Perform audio editing
  • Perform Video editing
  • Animate videos
  • Export videos for different platform

Methodology

Various learner-centered methods will be applied to accomplish goals of the course.

  •  Brainstorming, illustrated talk, group activities, oral questioning,
  • demonstration, simulation, field visit, observation, project work and participants 'presentation, practical exercises

Evaluation

Knowledge, performance and attitude will be evaluated during the training of this course.

Course

Training on Cyber Security – 2W

 

Purpose

           The course objective is to impart fundamental implementation of every facet of information security, cryptography, authentication, secure web, email services and emerging best practices with security standards on teaching learning process to the Instructors/Trainers.

 

Structure

This is Ten days (Two weeks) training course. The training requires full time attendance and active participation of all participants. The training will be conducted in English / Nepali.

Prerequisite for Participation: Competent on Computer skills: using a network device, Security devices, Smart devices, email, and internet. All participants must be from Information Technology (IT) related or Engineering fields/Concerned personnel.  

Target Group

 IT officers/Trainers/Instructors of training/education institutions, who are involved in IT Supports/Network Supports/Teaching/Training profession.

Goals

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

 

 

  • determine poor Cyber Security Practices;
  • secure web application, Email, LAN, IP address, network devices and services;
  • implement authentication system;
  • apply network and information security;
  • execute basic system penetration testing technique;

Dur       During this course, a wide variety of learner centered and problem-based strategies will be used.  Various methods such as modeling through virtual classroom, illustrated instruction, lab work, small group activities, oral questioning, brainstorming, and participant’s presentation will be used to accomplish the course goals. Principles of adult learning will guide the overall process.

Course

Computerize Government Accounting System – CGAS + 1W

Purpose

To provide potential accountants, and accountants with essential knowledge

and skills about accounting system through CGAS for carrying out their work efficiently and effectively.

Structure

This is seven days (7 days) training course. The training requires full time attendance and active participation of all participants. The course consists of knowledge and competencies related to accounting system of government of Nepal. The training will be conducted in English / Nepali.

The participants are required to bring personal and organizational soft skill issues of the organization.

Target Group

Potential accountants and accountants of training/education institutions, who are involved in accounting profession.

Goals

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

 

  • Operate CGAS system;
